Aerogal has take delivery of a new Airbus A320-200

Aerogal , the leading ecuadorian airline, now part of the Avianca/TACA airline group has taken delivery of a new Airbus A320-200 in the capital city of Quito. The new aircraft has a seating capacity for 150 passengers in two-class configuration. The new Airbus aircraft is the first of three to be delivered in 2010 and is the start of a major fleet renewal programme.

Aerogal are looking to perate flights from Quito to provincial capital of Portoviejo early in 2010. The new scheduled service is likely to be operated twice daily, morning and afternoon on weekdays and one afternoon flight each Saturday and Sunday.
In just 10 days time on December 07th 2009, almost 1,000,000 Ecuadorians living in New York will be able to use their own airline, AeroGal, to fly home to Guayaquil.
Aerogal today announces the launch of a new route to New York, commencing on 7th December 2009. Tickets for this destination are available now from all offices and agents of Aerogal. Gabriela Sommerfeld, President Aerogal Executive, said this route was created with the aim of uniting all Ecuadorians with family members in the Big Apple.
